 Speed Dating Shropshire aims to provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for singles through events such as quiz nights, barbecues, discos, and other themed gatherings across various venues in Shropshire.

  1. Eligibility

– Be aged 18 years or older.
 – Be legally single or formally separated and not in any form of romantic or domestic partnership.
 – Dress appropriately and in accordance with any specific event dress code.
 – Behave respectfully and courteously towards all attendees and staff.
 – Arrive punctually.
 – Provide valid identification upon request.

  1. Registration and Entry

Registration must be completed through our Eventbrite page. You are required to provide accurate and up-to-date information. A valid Eventbrite QR code and proof of identity may be required for entry. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke admission at our sole discretion and we are under no obligation to give you a reason.

  1. Event Information

Event details, including date, time, and venue, will be confirmed upon registration. Attendees should arrive early for check-in. We reserve the right to change schedules or venues with appropriate notice.

  1. Fees and Payment

Fees must be paid at registration. All payments are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us. Ticket resales are not allowed without our written consent.

  1. Code of Conduct

Participants must behave respectfully. The following are prohibited:
 – Offensive or explicit language
 – Harassment or intimidation
 – Unwanted physical contact
 – Recording without permission
 Violation may result in removal and a ban from future events.

  1. Liability and Disclaimers

Participation is at your own risk. We are not liable for injury, distress, or loss. Our liability is capped at the price of your ticket.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Speed Dating Shropshire against any claims arising from your actions during events, including legal fees.

  1. Cancellations and Changes

We may cancel or reschedule events. If so, we will notify you and offer alternatives. Tickets are otherwise non-refundable and non-transferable.

We are not liable for events we cannot control, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, strikes, venue closures, or health emergencies.

Complaints should be submitted via email within 7 days of the event. We aim to respond within 14 days. Complaints will be dealt with in accordance with our complaints policy which includes our policy on vexatious complaints.

  1. Photography and Media

By attending, you consent to being photographed. You may opt out by informing staff in writing at the start of the event. You should ensure that you only take photographs of staff and attendees with their express permission. Doing so without their permission will result in you being asked to remove the photos and leave the event.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in English courts. Parties are encouraged to mediate first.
