What type of information do we have
Speed Dating Shropshire will gather personal data when an individual either registers a call or email request on our website or our Eventbrite advert. The information we receive with your consent would consist of the following:

– Payments and event bookings using Eventbrite
– Additional information will be added on the scorecards (jobs/hobbies, etc).
Upon receiving your information, Speed Dating Shropshire will begin organising the specifics of the upcoming event. Your receipt will serve as your entry pass, allowing you access to the event on the selected date. Be sure to keep it handy, as it will be required for admission using the QR code.
During the event, each attendee will receive a personalised scorecard designed to facilitate their dating experience. On this scorecard, participants will record the names of individuals with whom they would like to pursue a second date. After the session, we will systematically compile and analyse the scorecard to find out which participants have matched. A match is when two participants have both ticked that they would like to see each other again.

How do we store your information?
At Speed Dating Shropshire, we take the security of client information seriously. All electronic data is securely stored in the cloud, while paper documents/service contracts are kept in a locked cabinet. We are committed to minimising paper usage in the office and encourage the use of electronic notes instead. The scorecards will be used at each event. The scorecards will be stored for a maximum of six months for participants who have had matches and whose data have been exchanged. All other data will be shredded within one week after the event, as there will be no legitimate reason to retain that information.
We retain any information you provide for a specified period of time, which includes text messages and emails.
Invoice/ receipts from the venue information will be disposed of after seven years unless it is subject to a legal case.
If a client/ attendee decides they no longer wish for us to keep their information or decides not to proceed with our speed dating services, we will delete their information. In such cases, we will have no legitimate reason to retain it.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection laws, you have rights, including:
