From One Speed Dating Event to Award Winning Singles Company
Online dating did not worked for me when I was single, so I set about trying to find somewhere I could meet other single people who felt the same way. I hoped I was not the only one finding the virtual dating world to be a disappointing, soul destroying repetitive waste of my time and energy.
I could not find anywhere outside of a major city hosting in person dating events, so I decided to create my own…for all the other people in Shropshire who feel the same way.
This has been five years in the making. Five years of waiting for someone else to put on these events near me. So here I am now, doing this! I know there is a gap in the dating market in our somewhat disposable, fast paced, digital world. Maybe we need to take a step back (or forwards) to real life conversations and meeting people in the flesh to find out more about them.
Dating should not be as difficult as it has become in the modern world. We have become far too used to judging people based on a profile and looks alone. So I want to give you the chance to find out who someone is in person, to suss out their energy when you meet them, to see how they make you feel, to observe their mannerisms, hear their voice and to go on as many dates as it takes to find your one.
Fast forward 9 months and we have a massive community of single people, some attending events to find friends, some to find love and some because they’re curious! I scooped an award for Events Management Company of the Year from UK Business Awards this year and plan to continue delivery these high quality events to you, the lovely people of Shropshire.

If you feel nervous about attending and would like to join me (Pixie) on a Zoom call for some reassurance and to find out more about the event, please schedule a call. I understand how you feel. This way, you will know at least one person when you arrive.
I will be on hand to chat with you on the night and introduce you to the other people while you are waiting for the dating to begin. No one will feel alone. It is perfectly normal to be ‘Nervcited’ (nervous and excited) but I want to do everything I can to support you.
