I am creating a welcoming space for socially independent neurodivergent adults who are interested in dating, friendship, and building meaningful connections with other single people in Shropshire

Whether you’re autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, dyslexic, dyspraxic, or identify as neurodivergent in another way, you’ll find an inclusive, understanding environment where you can meet others who “get it.”

Our aim is to make the events feel calmer, more predictable and less overwhelming than a typical social event. 

While everyone’s needs are different, we’re making a number of adjustments to help create a more comfortable environment, including:

• Smaller events with fewer people.
• Reduced background noise wherever possible.
• Simple, uncluttered decor to reduce visual overstimulation.
• A separate quiet space where you can take a break if you need one.
• Extra breaks built into the event, so there’s time to recharge.
• Clear information before the event, so you know what to expect.
• A relaxed, no-pressure atmosphere where it’s completely okay to take things at your own pace.

We’re learning as we go and will continue to listen to feedback from attendees, so we can make each event even better.

I’m Kirsty, and those are some pictures of me at speed dating, social events and some of the venues we partner with. I am the Manager of Neuro Events Shropshire, and it will be me who you speak to before, during and after the events.
